More than 90 per cent of the Ajman Police employees have received their Covid-19 vaccine along with 630 of their family members.

The vaccine drive was part of the social responsibility in solidarity with the nationwide campaign held under the slogan “Hand in hand, we will recover”.

“Almost 90.8 per cent of police employees received the Chinese vaccine,” said Lt-Col Mohammad bin Ghalita, head of the training department at the training centre. “Some employees were excluded for medical conditions that prevent their ability to receive the vaccine, but they will continue to undergo the PCR test every 14 days to reach zero infected cases among police employees,” he added.

Lt-Col Galita hailed the employees who responded to the campaign as part of their social responsibility. “The Ajman Police always seeks to enhance the security and safety of society, and exerts its utmost efforts to provide a safe and secure work environment for its employees,” he said.
