Residents can call on 901, use the Sharjah Police app ‘Haris’ or email at covid19@shjpolice.gov.ae to report a violation.
A top police official said the they receive various reports of violations through these channels, and violators are penalised accordingly.
He said their smart app is easy to use and allows people to report violations and crimes on the go.
He said the police have created a crisis cell to manage the pandemic. This cell manages complaints and information relating to Covid-19 received via the app, email or on the call centre number 901 around the clock.
