Covid-19 vaccine UAE: UAQ Ruler gets the jab

Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla receives the vaccine.
The UAQ Ruler received the first of two doses of the vaccine on Sunday.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, has received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
A photo posted on social media on Sunday shows the Umm Al Quwain Ruler receiving the jab. The vaccine is administered in two doses, with a gap of 21-28 days.
Sheikh Saud is the second Ruler in the UAE to get the jab. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received the vaccine in November last year.
Covid-19 vaccines are available for free across the country.
