Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, called Britain's Prince Charles on Thursday to check up on him after the 71-year-old contracted coronavirus, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported early on Friday morning.
The British heir-to-the-throne ended his quarantine period on Monday and is in good health.
Last week, his Clarence House office revealed that Prince Charles had been tested after displaying mild symptoms of the virus. He had then spent a period of seven days in self-isolation at his Birkhall home in Scotland, where he had continued to work.
During his call with King Salman, SPA report that Prince Charles thanked his Saudi counterpart for his concern and stressed the depth of friendship between Britain and the Kingdom.
