Oil demand for road transport should peak around 2025
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 3,566 cases of Covid-19, along with 4, 051 recoveries along with 7 deaths.
The new cases were detected through additional 174,172 tests.
More than 24.2 million tests have been carried out across the country so far.
The total number of cases in the country as on January 23 are 274,376 while total recoveries are 247,318. Death toll rises to 783.
On Friday evening, Dubai announced new Covid-19 safety rules to curb the virus spread - tightening rules for gatherings, at eateries and fitness centres.

On Thursday, the UAE approved its third Covid vaccine for emergency use. Russia's Sputnik vaccine got the nod from authorities, as part of comprehensive efforts to ensure residents' safety.
Dubai also moved to tighten restrictions on Thursday, suspending all live entertainment permits issued in the emirate — as well as non-essential surgeries for a month.
