Saudi Customs have announced that trucks coming to Saudi Arabia and transiting through the Kingdom are now allowed to enter from all countries, in an easing of coronavirus precautionary measures at land ports.
Saudi Gazette reported early on Saturday morning that the move was as a result of a royal order endorsing what the Council of Political and Security Affairs saw as appropriate in terms of easing Covid-19 curbs.
Precautionary health measures that other countries apply to truck drivers coming from Saudi Arabia will be implemented. These include truck drivers who are suspected to be suffering from Covid-19 having their symptoms assessed accordingly.
