The Bahrain health ministry has reported 713 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 676 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 146 were among expatriate workers, 563 were contacts of active cases, and four were travel related
Three new deaths was also reported. The death toll rose to 224.
As many as 11,438 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 21, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 58,626.

There are currently 52 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 148 cases receiving treatment. 6,850 cases are stable out of a total of 6,902 active cases
