Coronavirus: Bahrain reports 705 Covid-19 cases, 643 recoveries

There are currently 40 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 159 cases receiving treatment.

The Bahrain health ministry has reported 705 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 643 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 119 were among expatriate workers, 576 were contacts of active cases, and 10 were travel related.
One new death was also reported. The death toll rose to 217.
As many as 12,796 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 17, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 56,807.
