Coronavirus: Bahrain reports 510 new Covid-19 cases

Dubai - As many as 9,801 Covid-19 tests were carried out on July 5, 2020, and total recoveries now stand at 24,649.

The Bahrain health ministry on Monday reported 510 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 690 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 284 were among expatriate workers, 223 new cases were contacts of active cases, and three were travel related.

As many as 9,801 Covid-19 tests were carried out on July 5, 2020, and total recoveries now stand at 24,649.

There are currently 53 Covid-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 45 are in a critical condition. 4,576 cases are stable out of a total of 4621 active cases.

One new death was also reported, taking the total to 97.
