The Bahrain health ministry has reported 297 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 328 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 132 were among expatriate workers, 163 were contacts of active cases, and two were travel related.
One new death was also reported. The death toll stands at 151.

As many as 7,601 Covid-19 tests were carried out on August 4, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,335.

There are currently 43 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 95 cases receiving treatment. 2,603 cases are stable out of a total of 2,646 active cases.
