The Bahrain health ministry has reported 232 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 289 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 51 were among expatriate workers, 172 were contacts of active cases, and nine were travel related. No new deaths were reported. The death toll remains at 316.
As many as 11,413 Covid-19 tests were carried out on October 27, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 77,421.
There are currently 24 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 71 cases receiving treatment. 3,004 cases are stable out of a total of 3,028 active cases.
