While staying home to prevent the spread of Covid-19, as per the UAE Government's instructions, people can share their experiences and ideas on tolerance and even build a network of relations with other tolerance enthusiasts.  

The International Institute for Tolerance, part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, has called on all those interested to join the World Tolerance Network initiative through the website, www.worldtolerancenetwork.com, and share their experiences and opinions on tolerance.

The members can also participate in discussions and build a network with other members by interacting with them virtually.

The World Tolerance Network initiative was launched in October 2019. As the first global digital platform that brings together tolerance enthusiasts, peace experts and academia with the aim of consolidating and disseminating the values of tolerance.

The members of the network includes 12 categories, including government institutions, individuals, community and governmental initiatives, youth, media platforms including TV, social media and digital networks, human rights and charitable institutions, private sector, research centres and universities and educational institutions.

The network aims to build global leaders and groups that contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, support cultural exchange between followers of religions, cultures and civilisations, respect  diversity and pluralism, establish the concept of positive dialogue as well as develop the abilities on how to accept and respect others' opinions in different disciplines of life.
