A new bus service is launched in Abu Dhabi to offer free rides to employees of healthcare sector. The free bus-on-demand service Abu Dhabi Healthcare Link is introduced by the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT).
The service will operate from 6pm to 8am during the night curfew and transport healthcare staff between their home and place of work within Abu Dhabi region.
Healthcare providers should download the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Link app from Apple Store or Google Play Store. They can identify their pick-up and drop-off locations, and will be notified about nearby location to wait for bus and exact time of arrival.
The free door-to-door service is aimed to support healthcare providers as the country stands together in fight against Covid-19.
