Operating a charter flight is akin to flying passengers on commercial flights, and private jet companies have to follow protocols set by the civil aviation authorities in countries of departure and destination
> The payment cheque to the charter company should be in the name of one passenger, who is a designated group leader
> The group leader will collect and submit passport copies of all passengers with valid residence visa
> The charter company will hand out the passenger details to an FBO (Fixed Based Operator) in Dubai
> The FBO will submit online passenger details to the civil aviation authorities and get prior approvals. Similar approvals are sought from destination countries
> The online system for approval is linked to Dubai airport and Immigration that will give the green light for boarding for passengers with six-month validity on their residency permits
> A handler who will accompany the passengers will collect their passports before boarding
> Covid-19 test is not required for passengers flying in private chartered jets
> Passengers are tested for coronavirus on arrival at the Dubai airport
> If tested negative, they are not required to quarantine
> If tested positive, residents should take home quarantine or quarantine in a hotel for 14 days
> Passports are handed back to the passengers
