Sharjah Police are getting on their bikes to help curb the spread of coronavirus, it has emerged.
The force has revealed that bicycle patrols are roaming the emirate to help the public and urge them to adhere to country-wide preventive and precautionary measures.
The move follows other proactive and stringent measures Sharjah Police have taken in the fight against Covid-19.
These include establishing checkpoints at entry points to the emirate to prevent the transportation of workers and curb the spread of coronavirus.
The venture includes checkpoints on Ittihad Road in both directions between Sharjah and Dubai, as well as between Sharjah and Ajman.
