Burnley, with the quickest goal of the season and a huge win, come off the bottom of the table
Saleh Al Hashimi, CEO of Dubai Health Insurance Corporation, reminded employers and sponsors that the insurance coverage is mandatory under the Health Insurance Law No. 11 of 2013.
"Therefore, if an employee's policy needs to be issued or renewed, the employer or sponsor should fulfill his obligation," Al Hashimi said.
Al Hashimi urged businesses and companies to meet the minimum insurance criteria, highlighting that patients require medical insurance to receive care across government and private hospitals and health centres.
"We fully recognise the challenges faced by organisations, sectors and communities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We must comply with the basic need of employees, which is the mandatory health insurance policy," he said.
Though these are unprecedented times, he assured that "we will overcome this global challenge".
"In the meantime, we need to move ahead keeping our responsibility in mind, with commitment and cooperation," Al Hashimi said.
