Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Friday 770 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Sultanate to  15,086.
Among those, 427 new cases were of expats and 343 of Omanis.
The Oman News Agency, ONA, quoted the ministry as saying that the country had also registered 72 deaths as a result of the virus.

The ministry also pointed out that 3,451 patients had recovered from the virus.
