770 mosques set to welcome worshippers in Dubai tomorrow, IACAD announces

The suspension of Friday prayers in the mosques continues until further notice.

After lifting the suspension of prayers in mosques in Dubai, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced a list of 770 mosques scheduled to reopen on Wednesday.

However, suspension of Friday prayers in the mosques continues until further notice and a set of controls and procedures should be followed by worshipers.

The mosques include 25 mosques in Hatta, 13 mosques in Al Lisaili area, two mosques in Al Faqaa area, 12 mosques in Al Habab 1 and 2 areas, four in Al Marmum, six in Nad Al Sheba, five in Jebel Ali 1, nine in Jumeirah; five in Al Jaddaf and 20 mosques in the Awir area.

A total of 19 mosques will reopen in Al Qusais; eight in Nahda one and two; seven in Wadi Al Amardi; five mosques in Dubai International Airport; 24 mosques in Al Rashidiya, five in Al Garhoud, 29 in Barsha 2 and 3, 13 in Al Barsha (south) 1, 2 and 4, three mosques in Al Sufouh, 29 in Al Quoz 1, 2 and 4, five in Umm Al Sheif, nine in Al Manara area, 30 in Umm Suqeim, nine in Al Safa 1 and 2, nine in Al Wasl, 18 in Jumeirah 2 and 3, and seven in Zabeel 1 and 2.

The list also includes 11 mosques in Nad Al Hamar; 19 in Al Khawaneej 1 and 2, 31 in Al Mizhar 1 and 2, eight in Mirdif, 27 in Al Warqa 2,3 and 4 areas; 13 in Oud Al Muteena 1 and 2, 14 in Muhaisnah I, 2 and 3, 11 in Abu Hail and 14 in Hor Al Anz.

Worshippers can get the details of the names of mosques from the IACAD website. "The next stage requires everyone's keenness to adhere to the instructions adopted by the official authorities to contain the epidemic. Reopening mosques comes according to official conditions and controls within a plan consisting of eight instructions for worshippers and nine general controls to establish prayers in the mosques.
