China is reeling under the pressure to contain the fast-moving coronavirus outbreak that has spread to 20 countries with over 1,700 people killed in China. Amidst the epidemic that has left thousands of people in China infected, there are many kind-hearted who are extending help in the face of adversity.
Among them is an 80-year-old woman from Heilongjiang, China, who donated her entire savings to help fight the epidemic.   
A video shared by China Xinhua News on their official Twitter, shows the elderly woman donate 50,000 yuan (approx. Dh26,200) to police officials as she hands over her deposit certificate.

Identified as Guo Shuying, the elderly woman lives a solitary life on her pension after her husband died, reported the local news agency.
The footage states that the officers did not accept the woman's donation.
