The UAE Embassy in Singapore has called on all Emirati citizens in Singapore to follow health guidelines announced by authorities in the country, after they raise their health readiness status to orange.
On February 4, Singapore announced the first local transmissions of the deadly coronavirus from China.

The Ministry of Health said it had found seven additional cases, four of them involving human-to-human transmission in Singapore, bringing the total infections to 40 in the city-state.

"Though four of these cases constitute a local transmission cluster, there is as yet no evidence of widespread sustained community transmission in Singapore," the ministry said in a statement.

The Health Ministry released a statement today, moving to the orange disease outbreak status.

In a statement issued by the UAE Embassy on social media said that the new orange status was updated after many cases of the coronavirus were identified in Singapore.
The embassy urged citizens to contact them on 006562388206 in case of an emergency.
More than 70 trade exhibitors have pulled out of the Singapore Airshow amid concerns over the new coronavirus and the number of public tickets available will be less than half of those on offer in 2018 to limit attendance, the show's organiser said on Sunday.
