#StayHome: Here's how to sterilise your home to help prevent Covid-19

Many UAE citizens and residents are staying at home and following social distancing to flatten the curve of the spreading coronavirus. The UAE has launched a #StayHome campaign, urging citizens and residents to stay at home except in cases of necessity, including getting essential supplies such as food and medicine, or performing jobs. The campaign is among several initiatives being launched by the country to combat the spread of Covid-19.
The authorities have also asked the public to clean and sanitize surfaces in their home. Such measures can make a difference in preventing the spread of the virus.
Ajman Police have recommended a series of practical steps for maintaining good hygiene at home. Here are some best practices for keeping yourself clean and virus-free.
Take off your shoes outside the home
Wash used clothes and not to wear more than once before washing
Wash hands with soap and water for 20-30 seconds
Wash face with soap and water
Get rid of masks and gloves in a safe way, as soon as you take them off
Sterilisation or washing any of the materials received from delivery workers and sterilizing the hand after receiving it
Wash cans with soap and water
Wash vegetables and fruits in running water and vinegar, then dry them
Cook the meat and eggs very well
Keep wiping the surface and sterilizing
Sterilise and clean cell phones continuously
Avoid direct contact with animals and surfaces that animals touch
Keep children clean, observing and protecting them from sterile substance and alcoholic resources
