UAE confirmed 13 new cases of Covid-19 and seven recoveries on Saturday.
The announcement was made during a media briefing by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
Dr. Al Hosani mentioned that 13 new cases of coronavirus comprised four nationals from Bangladesh, three are from Pakistan, three from the United Kingdom, and one each from Portugal, Poland and the United States. The cases are in a stable condition and are undergoing treatment - taking the total number of cases to 153 in UAE.
The cases were monitored through early and continuous investigation, and identified by examining those who had previously reported infections or coming from outside the country.

The seven fully recovered people - after receiving treatment - include two Emiratis, two Indians, one from the United Kingdom, one from the Philippines and one from Italy.
The spokesperson said that she had seen videos of residents visiting tourist place such as malls, beaches and restaurants - and urged the public to avoid these places and practice social distancing.
With regards to social distancing, she advised people in UAE to not take any chances and maintain a minimum of 1 metre distance when meeting each other or altogether staying at home - leaving only in case of emergency.
The UAE Attorney General has warned that legal action will be taken against anyone caught breaking home quarantine. 
14-day quarantine
Dr Hosani added that a negative Covid-19 test does not mean that individuals socialise without precautions, but adhere to the 14-day quarantine period to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
Quarantine facility
Dubai Humanitarian city is ready to be used as a quarantine facility, health authorities also confirmed during the press briefing.
Dr. Al Hosani, the official spokesperson for the health sector in the country, said that the Humanitarian city has been well equipped with all facilities to be used as a quarantine facility if the need arises.
Avoid malls, restaurants
Replying to a question, she urged residents to avoid going to public places, including malls and restaurants unless for emergency needs.
On a question regarding suspension of public transportation, Dr Hosani said that it is advisable to avoid all forms of public transportation if necessary. People should also avoid dental appointments if not important as a precautionary measure.
The official said the UAE has set up a specialised medical committee to look into all the latest studies and scientific research about the new drugs/vaccines being tested for coronavirus.
