An advisory has been issued to the Dubai Metro commuters about the early suspension of service on Friday.

On its official Twitter handle, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said: "To users of the Dubai Metro Red Line, the last train to the UAE Exchange station starts at 6.02pm from Al Rashidiya Metro Station."
The last train to Al Rashidiya Station will depart at 6.02 from UAE Exchange Station.

As part of the national sanitisation programme, residents have been urged to stay indoors from 8pm to 6am on Friday and Saturday.

For Green Line users, the last train to the Creek Station will depart today at 6.17pm from Etisalat Station. The last train to Etisalat Metro Station will depart at 6.13pm from Creek Station.

The first trip of public buses will start at 7am while the last trip at 6pm.
