His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Sunday met His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at Al Marmoom, where the two leaders discussed UAE's preparation in the fight against the Covid-19 coronavirus.

The leaders affirmed that all resources had been made available for public safety.

"I met my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid at Al Marmoom, where we discussed Covid-19 and public health and safety. Under the direction of our The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, all resources were made available to ensure public safety. We are all partners in facing this challenge," he tweeted.

Earlier today, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, said that Dubai placed the highest priority on ensuring the safety of its residents.

He met the various teams in the emirate at the forefront of handling the preventive measures to contain the coronavirus.

"I would like to thank all federal and local entities for your efforts to ensure our safety. You are our first line of defence. Everyone should abide by the directives issued by relevant authorities with the aim of protecting the health of our community," Sheikh Hamdan said.
