Coronavirus: Indian airlines cancel flights from Dubai

Indian airline companies have cancelled flights on Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah sectors in the wake of Covid-19.
While, Air India and its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express have schedules hit till April end, another budget airline IndiGo have cancellations till this month end only.
Air India 903/918 (Indore/Dubai/Kolkata) is cancelled effective March 16 to April 27 on Mondays. Air India 917/904 (Kolkata/Dubai/Indore) is cancelled from March 17 to April 28 on Tuesdays.
Meanwhile, from March 18 to April 30, AI 915/916 (Delhi/Dubai/Delhi) merged with AI 995/996 and Al 909/910/911/912 (Mumbai/Dubai/Mumbai) merged with AI 983/984 for all days till April 27.
Also, Air India Express’ Tiruchirappalli-Abu Dhabi sector to be launched this month is postponed to May 15.
Meanwhile, IndiGo flights from Dubai to Chennai, Kolkata and two services to Mumbai are cancelled. Also, Sharjah services to Lucknow, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram. Abu Dhabi to Kochi and to Kozhikode are both cancelled till March 28.
“Daily operations are hit. There is a possibility cancellations may be extended,” a sales executive with IndiGo said.
