The UAE's singing sensation that is Layla Kardan is performing every Thursday at Dubai's live music venue, Q's Bar & Lounge at the Palazzo Versace and will continue her jazz night series for three months to go alongside the cocktails and delicious a la carte menu to enjoy during the evening. After the successful launch of Deliveroo Heroes with Pickl, the delivery service has now partnered with Pret-a-Manger as a thank you gesture for riders who, in the last few months, have played a key role in keeping the city fed, healthy and moving. It has been away for a while, but now the quintessential Arabian Nights experience is back at the One&Only Royal Mirage’s famed Tagine restaurant and Courtyard. In true Moroccan style enjoy a journey through the endlessly exciting tastes of North Africa with traditional recipes curated by Chef Naima who is well-known for blending the delicious and quintessential balance of spice, sweet and sour found in Moroccan cuisine. Tagine is open Wednesday to Saturday from 7pm to midnight.

It’s Curry Week!
We don’t need much of an excuse to head out for a decent vindaloo and, with National Curry Week taking place in the UK, now is the perfect time to embrace the spice. Until October 12, The London Project on Bluewaters will be offering a curry, with a twist, plus a pint of hops for Dh135. The restaurant’s brand new ‘DIY Curry Bomb’, a take on a British classic, Chicken Tikka Masala, looks interesting. Deconstructed elements made up of a bread pillow, stuffed with saffron and pea pulao, chicken skewers, makhni gravy, poppadum strands and cucumber raita will be served thali style, and you can get creative by building your desired dish inside the bread.
