The Abu Dhabi shooting schedule of the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' is over. The team has returned to India.

Katrina posted a picture online of herself with Salman and actor Sunil Grover and captioned it, "Schedule Wrap. #Bharat. @Aliabbaszafar went shopping."

Director Ali Abbas Zafar too posted a picture from the set announcing the wrap up of the schedule here. He thanked the UAE government for their support. Besides the UAE, the movie has also been extensively shot in India and Morocco. The shooting schedule reportedly also featured some shots in Al Ain. Around 15 vanity vans were arranged to help the cast and crew combat the hot weather conditions while shooting during the day.

Bharat is set for an Eid Al Fitr release next year.
Salman, Katrina and Ali have previously worked together in the action flick Tiger Zinda Hai, which too was shot extensively in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE capital seems to have become a favourite location for moviemakers. This year itself, 'Race 3', 'Saaho' and Tom Cruise's action flick 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' was shot in the emirate.
Katrina replaced Priyanka Chopra as the heroine of Bharat after she quit the movie over a 'very special' reason.   Director Ali, producer Atul Agnihotri, and Katrina were extremely active on Instagram during their time in Abu Dhabi sharing pictures of the UAE capital and themselves. Varun Dhawan, who is making a special appearance in Bharat, also shot for the movie in this schedule.
Abu Dhabi has become a preferred location for major film studios because of the attractive 30% rebate on production spend in the emirate from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC).
