Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, in an interview with Arab TV show Siwar Shoaib, recently explained how reading the Holy Quran made her feel calm.
In the show, hosted Shoaib Rashid, the Mean Girls star, described her relationship with Islam.

Lohan, who fasted for three days during the holy month of Ramadan, also explained how she had prayed like Muslims do.

"I did Ramadan for three days with my friend from Kuwait. It was hard but it was good. It felt good," she said.
While talking about her photo holding the Holy Quran went viral over the internet, she revealed her intention was not just to hold a religious book.
She referred to the Holy Quran as 'a solace and a safe thing for me to have'.

The actress expressed her disappointment with the way some Americans judged her for it. They said 'nasty things' after the picture went viral.

In the show, Lohan also said she read 15 pages from the Holy Quran and even practiced writing some verses down in Arabic.
The actress also said she listened to the holy book on her mobile phone through an application.

Regarding the experience of reading the Holy Quran, Lohan said: "I feel calmness."
