Will Smith was aiming to give a usual humorous twist to his colonoscopy and filmed it live for his YouTube channel in November. But the American actor and rapper was left shocked when doctors told him they detected a precancerous polyp while examining his bowels.

According to reports in Metro.co.uk, Smith recalled the uncomfortable experience on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week and said, "I thought it was fun, I was gonna vlog it, you know? So, I was like, Oh, this'll be cool. I'm gonna vlog my colonoscopy."
The 51-year-old actor recalled the moment the doctor revealed they had discovered a precancerous polyp. "That's not funny. And then all of a sudden it turned very real, you know? It was just a good thing that they removed it and it was really great," Smith added.
He also revealed that the 'worst part' was not the procedure or the result, but instead it was the day before the procedure which saw him on a 24-hour diet where he was only permitted to consume clear liquids and over-the-counter laxatives.
