Get your Greek on
Throwing it back to ancient Greece, Nikki Beach Dubai is paying homage to the Acropolis, Olympia, Sparta and other Greek treasures with its Friday night Mighty Athens event. Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi is a nostalgic tribute to the late Ghazal King - Jagjit Singh - and is on tonight at the Joharah Ballroom, Madinat Jumeirah Conference Center from 7.30pm onwards. The show stars Shekhar Ravjiani, Javed Akhtar, and Deepak Pandit and tickets are still available on Platinumlist.
I spy ikandy
Launching tonight, the ikandy ultralounge at the Shagri-La hotel Dubai is transforming into an exotic tropical oasis. Complete with bright floral décor, themed bites and drinks and chilled beats; everyone is sure to feel those relaxed island vibes on the stunning rooftop poolside terrace. Enjoy the music and drift away.
Sons of Babur
The Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai, will light up on Friday with Salman Khurshid's Sons of Babur, part of 'Mughal Night' which will see another popular comedy Ghalib in New Delhi also take to the stage. Both plays will be performed by the Pierrot Troupe. Sons is set in the Mughal era. Check Platinumlist for tix.

On Friday, Zero Gravity's regular Ritual day welcomes Franky Rizardo, DJ, producer and label boss. The young artist continues to prove himself as one of Holland's finest exports in dance music, demonstrating a solid production career with releases spanning a collection of top labels, including a long-term relationship with Defected Records. Disco divas, ready?
A'l Bahar at the Corniche, Abu Dhabi, is setting the perfect mood every weekend with live entertainment for the entire month! Every Friday and Saturday, local band Part Time Sinners will perform classic jazz tunes where you can sing along to your favourite hits from the '70s and '80s. Street performers will also entertain with colourful theatrics such as fire dancing and acrobats.

The Tap House, Club Vista Mare, has launched its brand-new addition to the menu - Nan's British Roast. It is on every Saturday and Sunday with prices starting from Dhs99 with a free glass of red or white with every order.
