Plays, films and food, what a week we've got in store for you! Here's looking forward to another great seven days.
Play time
Catch the final few performances of Danú's The Walworth Farce at The Courtyard Theatre, Al Quoz. The play is a dark farce about an Irishman and his two sons who live holed up in a top floor flat. Every single day they re-enact the same story; the day of their grandmother's funeral. How intriguing!
Indie film
Taking place at Manarat al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi at 7.30pm, make sure to watch the Spanish language film Tambien la lluvia (Even the rain) for free. A film crew are in rural Bolivia to shoot a period movie about Columbus although get caught up in the local actors' crusade against modern discrimination.
Movie magic
Cinema Akil has a roster of Japanese anime films on this week and Tuesday it's Howl's Moving Castle's turn to entertain everyone. Tickets are Dhs52.50 at this brilliant independent cinema space in Al Quoz where a cup of chai from Project Chaiwala is always recommended.

Laughter factory
Tonight at 9pm, the Movenpick JBR will play host to the Laughter Factory featuring Alfie Brown, Greg Morton and Fern Brady. Fern is an award-winning Guardian journalist and uses her knowledge of current affairs to concoct cracking gags.
Maroon 5 are here!
Grammy award-winning pop-rock group Maroon 5 will return to Dubai for their Red Pill Blues Tour at the Coca-Cola Arena. To celebrate, Caesars Bluewaters Dubai is offering a one-night stay package with official after-party access.
