Spirited away
Dubai's Tall Tales Production, in association with The Junction Theatre, are bringing a Henrik Ibsen treat to the stage. Ghosts is one of the best from "the father of realism" and the stellar cast and crew will do it justice. Helmed by director Shanker, a National School of Drama India graduate, the production will be staged from August 22-24 at The Junction in Alserkal avenue each night at 7.30pm.
Hariharan in Abu Dhabi

The Bollywood singer will be enthralling fans this weekend with his fine mix of Bollywood songs, ghazals and classical tunes at Jai Ho,  at a 3-day celebration marking the Indian Independence Day on August 23 at the National Theater, Abu Dhabi.
New act here
Shameka Dwight is a soulful American singer and songwriter set to wow the crowds at Q's Bar & Lounge with her enchanting voice and captivating lyrics. Beginning her residency at the club tonight, Shameka's debut album Lovelations, has led commentators to describe her music as refreshing, organic and meaningful through songs like Roses Have Thorns, Always and Love Is.
Grylls & Modi
Survivalist Bear Grylls visits the Indian jungle with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls and PM Modi. During his adventure he learns about how India is protecting its natural resources and shares survival tips. This special episode, which was filmed in the Jim Corbett National Park, throws light on wildlife conservation, highlighting issues related to environmental change. It's on Discovery, OSN channel 500, on Saturday at 10pm UAE time.
Free coffee
To celebrate the launch the Espresso Freddo, Costa Coffee is doing something fun at Dubai Festival City Mall. For this weekend only, anyone who visits the Costa store will have the chance to grab a free drink from the giant Espresso Freddo ice sculpture. Starting from 2pm on both days, be quick to bag yourself a freebie before the ice sculpture melts.

The free night of humour kicks off at 8.30pm awith Abdullah Al Qassab, Mohammed Aly Momos, Abdullah Ali (Abz), Wissam, and Yusuf ElKott.
