The multi-talented blond actor and singer, Tab Hunter, died at age 86 on Sunday.
An official post on his Facebook page "Tab Hunter Confidential" confirmed his passing. 
The post reads: "SAD NEWS: Tab passed away tonight three days shy of his 87th birthday. Please honour his memory by saying a prayer on his behalf. He would have liked that."
He was known in the 50's for his films, including "Battle Cry", "Damn Yankees!", and his song "Young Love" which topped charts in 1957.
The artists memoir detailed the reality of being a celebrity icon.
Born Arthur Andrew Kelm, he was given the name Tab Hunter by his agent, according to legend.
