When we reach this year's Eid holiday the usual flight deal scouring and rush to the airport may not be on the cards, but the UAE's hotels are still up for hosting you in the lap of luxury. So if you fancy a change of scenery, easy access to beaches or just a tonne of room service served directly to you in bed, these are worth a look.
Creekside craze
A home away from home; relax, unwind and enjoy a change of scenery at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel with up to 25 percent off the best available rate. Located in the heart of 'old Dubai', with sprawling views of the Creek and cityscape, explore the hotel's impressive art collection, its signature restaurant Nomad; and the property is now dog-friendly. If you're looking for something a bit more long-term, they do a monthly rate of Dhs6995 including breakfast and 25 percent off dining along with additional exclusive benefits.
Palatial stay
Holiday like an emperor with breathtaking rooms, suites with private jacuzzis on the terrace, world-class dining and royal pampering for less this year. Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai has two offers: the Stay #LikeACaesar package or the UAE residents offer. Starting from Dhs796 per room per night, the Stay #LikeACaesar deal includes a 20 per cent discount on room rates with complimentary breakfast and 20 per cent discount off all F&B across  the property. UAE residents can also get their hands on a carefully curated staycation offering starting from Dhs647 per person which includes 35 per cent off room rates, as well as complimentary breakfast and dinner for two.
Beach comber
Soak up the sun at Jumeirah Al Naseem's two-kilometre beach and enjoy the calming sound of ocean waves, exotic palm trees and secluded nooks. The hotel offers a rich selection of facilities and stunning views of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Dine at KAYTO and Rockfish, the signature restaurants, as well as at Shimmers, Mina A'Salam's popular alfresco Greek restaurant on the beach. Al Naseem's current package includes savings of up to 40 per cent when booking a staycation at the hotel, starting from Dhs750 per night, including complimentary breakfast and lunch or dinner at select restaurants.
Premium experience
If you want to be in the thick of things - at least geographically - a one-night staycation at Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR,  is Dhs790 plus taxes and includes a Dhs500 food and beverage voucher redeemable at Azure Beach, Luigia, Black Tap & Ammos restaurants, all located at the hotel.
Abu Dhabi dreaming
Just in time for Eid, Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is re-opening its doors today for those looking for a much-needed mini break.  Set in opulent and peaceful beachfront scenery, Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island has premium facilities and made-to-order services which will make you wish your vacation was permanent. Rates for Eid start from Dhs750 for a deluxe room.
Palm date
A stay at Atlantis, The Palm just went up a notch, with the ultimate Eid staycation package starting at Dhs795 including breakfast at one of three culinary outlets such as the Imperial Club Lounge, Kaleidoscope and Bread Street Kitchen, as well as a credit of Dhs200 to spend across the resort .The package will also include late check-out, access to The Imperial Club Lounge and Beach, unlimited visits to The Lost Chambers Aquarium, unlimited usage of the tennis courts, as well as a host of unbeatable discounts across the resort.
New normal hotel rules
Given this Eid holiday is vastly different, hotels have put in place a variety of safety measures to ensure you can have fun while maintaining peace of mind. Protocols across the board include social distancing measures, maintaining a maximum 30 percent occupancy rate, temperature checks upon arrival and ensuring all guests wear masks in public areas. Many properties also offer paperless check-in and out and a close monitoring of lobby capacity during peak check-in and out times.
