Indian actor Vizag Prasad, popular for his work in Telugu language film industry passed away at the age of 75. 
The veteran actor passed away in the wee hours of Sunday at a private hospital in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment for age-related illness, according to reports in Bollywood Life. His real name was Korlam Parvathi Varaprasada Rao but was nicknamed Vizag Prasad and Senior Prasad by his colleagues as he hailed from Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. 
Prasad was famous in South Indian cinema and had worked in over 150 Telugu films besides being popular in Telugu theatre circles. He also worked in a few Tamil films. He got his first break in the 1983 release Babai Abbai and became famous for his roles in films like Nuvvu Nenu, Jai Chiranjeevi and Bhadra in Telugu cinema. Prasad even appeared in a brief cameo in Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji as a CBI officer.
