Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 in Mumbai, actor Shekhar Suman has been extremely vocal on social media calling for a deeper investigation into his death and even a CBI enquiry.
Shekhar was tweeting regularly on the issue and recently visited the Patna home of the late actor, where he met with his family and paid his last respects. He was accompanied by Sandip Ssingh, a producer and friend of Sushant.
Post this visit, Shekhar was part of a press conference with Sandip and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav. Sushant's family are reportedly not pleased with this move and called the using of a particular banner at this conference a 'publicity gimmick'.
According to a report in The Times of India, in a recent interview, the deceased actor's family said that giving a media byte in Patna under a political banner is just for political mileage and they (the family) are capable enough to demand for justice for Sushant.
According to another report in Zee News, the family is also unhappy with Sandip, who soon after Sushant's death gave media interviews that appeared to absolve Bollywood of any blame.
The investigation into Sushant's death is ongoing and Mumbai police have so far questioned 27 people in this regard.
