According to a report in Pinkvilla, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law has launched a 'Nepometer', which will help rate films as independent or a product of nepotism.
The debate on nepotism in Bollywood has heated up in the wake of the actor's untimely death on June 14. He was allegedly sidelined and ignored by Bollywood bigwigs, leading to online anger among his fans and a call to boycott Bollywood cliques and 'star kids'. Police are investigating all angles of the case, including that of the actor's alleged mental health struggles.
Sushant's brother-in-law Vishal Kirti announced the launch on Twitter and said the 'Nepometer' would help provide people with information to fight nepotism in the industry. It would come up with a rating, based on which one could decide how afflicted by nepotism a film is.
