In the wake of the terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) announced a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in Indian film industry.
Now, news has surfaced that actor Salman Khan has replaced Pakistani Singer Atif Aslam's song from upcoming production Notebook.
According to Pinkvilla, the actor has reportedly asked his production house Salman Khan Films to re-record the song, which is said to be done in a day or two.
The actor recently shared the first poster of the Nitin Kakkar directorial Notebook, starring debutants Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. It has has been shot extensively in Kashmir.
The attack in Pulwama district on February 14, killed over 49 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and left several others were injured. Announcing the ban, AICWA said in a letter signed by its General Secretary Ronak Suresh Jain: 'We're officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in film industry.
Still, if any organisation insist on working with Pakistani artists will be banned by AICWA and strong action will be taken against them'.
