After sexual harassment allegations by actress Tanushree Dutta, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar at the Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai.
According to the ANI news agency, FIR has also been lodged against director Rakesh Sarang, producer Samee Siddiqui and choreographer Ganesh Acharya under Section 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Accompanied by her lawyer Nitin Satpute, Dutta recorded her statement against Nana Patekar following which the FIR was filed.
"The statement of Tanushree Dutta has been recorded in English so that she can understand the language. They were writing the statement in Marathi. However, we requested them to write it in English so that what happened 10 years ago would not happen again," Nitin Satpute said.
Dutta has alleged that during the shooting of a song sequence for the film Horn OK Pleassss in 2008, she was being inappropriately touched by Nana Patekar.
