Story: Good Newwz has turned out to be just like how it looked in the trailer - no less no more. Although the film is predictable, the way it has been depicted on screen is simply amazing as it shows the lives of two couples getting intertwined due to a medical error.
The Batras - Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor - have been married for seven years and they have been putting all their time and energy into their careers. One day, they realise the need for a child, but things do not seem to be working in their favour so they finally decide to have a baby through IVF (in vitro fertilisation).
Another couple, also Batras - Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani - have also been in the wedlock for six years and are going through the same situation as the other Batras while trying to conceive. Both couples decide to go to the same clinic and consult the same doctor. This leads to a major goof up due to their identical last names. Thus begins the hilarious journey of the two Batra families as they put up with each other, and the comedy of errors that follow.
To top it up, the film carries a message that shows how parents sacrifice their lives for their children, even as some of them turn out to be irresponsible.
Dialogues:  The dialogues are hilarious, but they keep up with the film's story and do not going astray or overboard. The funny dialogues will leave one guffawing, while the emotional lines will leave you teary-eyed.
Music: The music is commendable and well-placed. It does not seem forceful or put in between scenes just for the sake of entertaining the audience. All the songs are a treat to the eyes - colourful and aptly placed in the film.
Location: Shot entirely in Mumbai, Good Newwz seems to be the among the few Bollywood movies to show Mumbai in such a beautiful way. The city looks charming and attractive.
Editing:  The editing seems to be perfect and it controls the length of the film. The crisp editing allows for scenes to be placed appropriately.
Acting: All the actors have given a splendid performance and make Good Newwz worth a watch.
Direction: Director Raj Mehta has done a commendable job with his crisp, flawless and up-to-the-point direction. This is his first film as a director, but he has worked in several movies earlier as an assistant director.
Verdict: A very good comedy film and a family entertainer. Good Newwz should not be missed.
