As per ABP News, Vishwas Mote, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, BMC, confirmed both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive in the Covid-19 swab test.
Following on from the news that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Covid-19, fans were upset when news broke that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya had also tested positive for the same.

However there seemed to be some confusion over the recent reports since Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope, who had first tweeted from his official handle that both Aishwarya and Aaradhya had tested positive for coronavirus soon deleted his tweets. He had also mentioned in the deleted tweet that Jaya Bachchan had tested negative.

Many media outlets reported the same based on this tweet; however, there has been no official clarification from the Bachchan family so far.

According to a report in Hindustan Times earlier, Mote said, "All four bungalows of Bachchan family named Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha and Vatsa have been sealed and declared as containment zone. We are conducting contact tracing among all staff members, and till now 30 have been identified as high risk contacts."
"Total 16 people from the Bachchan family have been tested including guards and maids. Other reports will come tomorrow," said Suresh Kakani, additional commissioner, BMC.

"Aishwarya and Aaradhya are both asymptomatic, BMC will take a written declaration from them if they want to take treatment at home. Or else, they will also be shifted to hospital," added Kakani.
