Constant talking on KBC has infected my vocal chords: Amitabh Bachchan

He hinted that the next season of KBC will be back in a couple of months

The much-adored reality quiz show on Indian television, Kaun Banega Crorepati 9, wrapped up the shoot for its season 9 on Sunday. 
Amitabh Bachchan, the soul behind the show, posted a long blog, sharing this thoughts on the wrap up. He writes:

"A peculiar sadness descends upon all those that have connected with us on this seasons KBC .. including those that took part in its production and broadcast .. countless pictures are taken for keep sake, nostalgia shall rule soon and all connected shall get disconnected to get connected elsewhere .."

Hinting that the show will be back in couple of months, he shares:

"9 pm shall not be the same for many .. and many shall wait for it to happen again, albeit after a break of some months hopefully .."

Being the lively host on the show is no mean task and that has taken a toll on the 75-year-old star. He says on this  -

"The constant talking for the past month for KBC has infected my vocal chords and now with throat pain and swallowing problems, am on antibiotics and pain killers to be able to work tomorrow the entire day for the FINALE of the KBC season 9 .. No worries .. the tablets seem to be working .. hot gargles, medications and rest shall give fresh strength by the morrow .."

Amitabh Bachchan's next project is Yash Raj Films' Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Shashank Arora in lead roles.
