Bollywood actor gets engaged to long-time girlfriend

The couple got engaged in a private ceremony on Monday.

Among the many celebs getting engaged and married in 2018, another Bollywood actor has joined the bandwagon.
Prateik Babbar got engaged to his girlfriend Sanya Sagar on Monday. The couple has been together for over a year and decided to take the plunge and get their relationship formalised with an engagement.
It was a private ceremony at Sanya's Lucknow farmhouse as the couple wanted to keep it under wraps.  
Prateik shared a funny picture of the couple shocked ovebye engagement on Instagram with the caption - 'holy snappp!.. that just happened!'

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, the actor said, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She's the best partner I could have asked for. It didn't take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd, but I can't stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."
