Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wows in Dubai-based Michael Cinco's design at Cannes

When you are counted among the top most beautiful women in the world, looking the part comes easy. Especially when you are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The Bollywood actress has made innumerable appearances on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet over the years and every time managed to make a striking show.
While in the early years she might have erred a bit when it comes to her sartorial choices, over the years she has matured in her style and showed us how to wow on the red carpet.
At the ongoing 71st Cannes Film Festival she didn't disappoint with a jaw-dropping purple butterfly gown from none other than Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco for the premiere of Girls of the Sun on May 12. Remember the lilac Cinderella-esque gown she wore to the same festival last year by the same designer?
On his Instagram page, Cinco describes the gown thus: "The Impalpable Dream of The Butterfly...And so the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis and metamorphose into this cape made in the lightest of fine mesh. Its color starkly evocative in all shades of violet, red and blue threadworks, fully embellished in Swarovski crystals and French palettes. It is 10-foot long and took 3,000 of man-hours to make it this exquisitely flighty and timeless.."
Aishwarya was accompanied by daughter Aradhya clad in a pretty red gown till the red carpet. Check out their twirling video on Aishwarya's official Instagram which she debuted just ahead of her Cannes appearance.
