Mumbai: Indian television actors, who are best known for their roles in the famous family saga Kakaani Ghar Ghar Ki', are headed for divorce. Kiran Karmarkar and Rinku Dhawan first met on the sets of the serial which ran on Star Plus in 2000. The couple who has been married for 15 years but are living separately since the last year, are reportedly filing for divorce on an amicable note, according to reports in India Today.

"Both Kiran and Rinku are mature, creative people. They have decided to separate because of unresolved differences and they believe it is better than living in constant acrimony. The decision is amicable and their priority is their teenager son," a source was quoted in the Bombay Times.

However, the couple are not making their separation official as they don't want their son to be affected by this. "Rinku and Kiran are not willing to talk about their personal lives and do not want unnecessary publicity to upset their son," added the source.

Kiran is seen in another television series Dhhai Kilo Prem while Rinku was seen in a negative character in recently-wrapped Yeh Vaada Raha.
