Actor Sanjay Dutt who was discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Monday after undergoing treatment for breathlessness, has tweeted to say that he will be taking a break from work for health reasons.
Dispelling rumours on social media that he has been diagnosed with cancer, the actor tweeted on Tuesday, "I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon.
 

 
The actor has been spending the lockdown period in his Mumbai residence while his wife Maanyata and son and daughter were stuck in Dubai.
Sanjay, while hospitalised, had tested negative for Covid-19.
The actor's next release is the much anticipated Sadak 2, directed by Mahesh Bhatt, where he will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The movie will be released on August 28 on Disney + Hotstar VIP.
