Coronavirus: Abhishek Bachchan confirms Aishwarya, Aaradhya have tested positive

Laying to rest all speculation about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan's Covid-19 status, Abhishek Bachchan has taken to Twitter to confirm the same. He mentioned they would be quarantining at home.
"Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers," he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan's Mumbai residences have been the subject of much scrutiny and interest following the actor and his son Abhishek testing Covid-19 positive Saturday.
 
Both Bachchan and son Abhishek had been admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital for treatment for the same.
 
Celebrity paparazzi photographer Viral Bhayani had posted a video and photo to his social media accounts, claiming Abhishek Bachchan has left Nanavati Hospital. He said a car left Jalsa bungalow to collect Abhishek from Nanavati.
But Abhishek rubbished the rumour by stating in his tweet: "My father and I remain in hospital till the doctors decide otherwise. Everyone please remain cautious and safe. Please follow all rules!"

 Eariler there were reports that Bachchan's residences have been sealed and declared containment zones by the BMC. Officials had undertaken a thorough sanitisation of the area this morning.
 
Security had also been beefed up outside the hospital to prevent fans from gathering outside.
