Aamir Khan promoted an initiative to donate plasma in the battle against Covid-19 with a video posted on his social media accounts Wednesday.
According to the video, those who have recovered from Covid-19 can register as donors at the site www.plasmayoddha.in. A confirmed Covid test is mandatory for the donation. Transportation to the blood bank would be arranged, according to the video, and a machine would safely remove plasma from the donor. "Help win the war against Covid-19" is the tagline of the initiative.
According to its official website, Plasmayoddha.in is the official partner of Project PLATINA, a clinical trial looking at plasma therapy in Covid-19.
