Dubai - The movie will be released in cinemas this weekend

We love it when Bollywood stars come to the UAE but we love it more when they come here for a long time to shoot their movies. And how awesome is that when they involve local talent in the production of their film.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai is Abu Dhabi's longest feature film project to date and many UAE based talents are part of the movie in the production and the acting department. The film was shot in Abu Dhabi over a 65 -day period with a 300-person international production team. It will be released in cinemas this weekend. Don't we all agree that Tiger Zinda Hai is one of the much-awaited movies of the year? Here are five reasons why the movie has been a talking point with all.
Salman gaga over Abu Dhabi
In a recent interview Salman said that he really appreciates the support given by the Abu Dhabi government and he would love to come back to the UAE to shoot another movie, "The support that we've been given by the (Abu Dhabi) government has been phenomenal; we have never had that kind of support before, anywhere. People have been really co-operative. We have had a peaceful experience in the department. The twofour54 team was so hospitable that we actually felt at home. It's been such a pleasure filming here. I want to come back for my next film and then the other one. You have the sea here. You have the desert here.You can shoot for any film here."
Also, this year has been terrible for the business of Bollywood. Only a handful of movies like Baahubali, Golmaal Again, Fukrey Returns etc did great business at the box-office. The trade has big hopes from the Salman starrer. Even though Salman's other movie this year, Tubelight, is one of the biggest flops of the year, the actor coming back with the sequel to his popular film has chances of bringing audiences back the cinema hall.
Salman-Katrina are back
They are totally heating up the screen with their sizzling chemistry, making us wonder if they are back in real life as well. Even though, this is an action film but you will see loads and loads of romance as well. They shot the visually stunning, romantic track Dil Diyan Gallan on the snowy Alps and that too while riding a snow-mobile! Director Ali Abbas Zafar says, "Salman was supposed to ride a snow-mobile on some very difficult terrain here in the Alps. He picked it up in just one ride. It was an outstanding shoot! Salman and Katrina braved harsh weather conditions to pull off their most romantic song to date."
Iranian villain scared Salman
In the trailer, Salman is focused on an impossible rescue mission that makes him take on a wanted, ferocious terrorist leader Abu Usman whose unwavering focus on destruction is chilling. Sajjad Delafrooz, the Iranian actor, plays the antagonist in the film and his stone-cold demeanor has found a fan in none other than Salman Khan! He says, "He is the deadliest villain I have faced in my career. You haven't met a villain like this before. Cold, shrewd and fearless to die, our villain is a fanatic, which makes him even more dangerous than conventional villains that generally take on the hero."
Katrina does the stunts
Salman and Katrina - have pushed themselves to their limits to pull off never-seen-before, death-defying action stunts. The entire industry swears by the fact that Katrina is one of the most hard working actresses in Bollywood. Katrina has been part of nerve-wracking car chase sequences - one of which led to a huge accident but she escaped unhurt thanks to security checks in place. She has trained in sword fighting and parkour through which she takes down an army of enemies. She underwent heavy-duty weaponry training for a month to look convincing when using them on screen.
TZH banned in Pakistan
This high octane action drama that has been refused the No-objection Certification for import into Pakistan, shows the country's national security and law enforcement institutions and agencies in a demeaning manner, according to the Pakistan censor board chief.
IANS reports that Pakistan's Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage refused the grant of the NoC to the local distributor, Geo TV Network, for Tiger Zinda Hai on the recommendation of the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC), thereby banning the movie in the country. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is a sequel to the thriller Ek Tha Tiger, which too was not released in Pakistan. "(The) first film Ek Tha Tiger was also banned in 2012 as it blatantly flouted the Code of Censorship of Films, 1980 under MPO (Maintenance of Public Order), 1979," Hasan said.
