Calling all Abu Dhabi foodies, one of the capital's finest Italian restaurants is back open. Cipriani Yas Island is serving up its signature Italian culinary offerings, hospitality, ambience and glistening Marina views. Try the the full à la carte menu, including desserts such as the iconic Cipriani Vanilla Meringue, available for dine-in or takeaway from 2pm to 9pm.
Craving adventure? It has been a while, hasn't it? Dubai's famed indoor tropical bio-dome, Green Planet at City Walk, is now reuniting explorers with its much-loved exotic wildlife and landscapes by introducing a number of updated new experiences to enjoy including a new edition of Zookeepers for The Day and VIP Tours. The indoor ecosystem offers you the opportunity to get up close and personal with over 3,000 exotic plants and animals. From witnessing a live feeding frenzy of over 1,000 piranhas, snapping a picture with the sleepy sloths or holding the creepy crawlies to taking a journey down under at The Australian Walkabout - there's plenty to keep everyone entertained.
For the more sedate among us, perhaps some art will take your fancy? Just yesterday Dubai's Jameel Arts Centre re-opened. Attractions include three floors of exhibitions and installations, Art Jameel Shop, the Artist's Garden, seven desert gardens, and more. While the centre still offers ticketless, free access, under new guidelines it's sensible to book a two-hour slot in advance.
If you're staying in, get ready for a party. On Saturday the Ecstatic Dance DXB online dance event is taking place on Zoom. Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves freely and expand together through the inspiration of a musical journey and dance. Everyone is welcome. In an effort to continue to bring the dance floor together organisers are asking for a sliding scale contribution of Dhs25 - Dhs100 if possible. If not, circle in as many people as you can.
